I just recently got the Tart & Tangy set but didn't know what to do with it since many of the images seemed to need coloring from different markers and I really like simple and easy stamping. While coloring with markers directly on stamps gives a really nice effect, I wasn't too keen on having to do too much of it. So, with some creative think-time, I realized that there was a lot I could do with this set with simple embossing.
I started out with Bermuda Bay cardstock for my base and then layered it with a piece of Chocolate Chip cardstock.
I stamped the citrus image with Versamark on Crushed Curry, Gable Green, Regal Rose and Pumpkin Pie cardstock and then embossed them in white. This gives the look of a lemon, lime, pink grapefruit and orange. I love all the possibilities with the citrus stamp!
I punched them out with the 1 1/4 inch circle punch (which works great for all the images in this set) and layered them on 1 1/2 inch squares in alternating colors with pop-dots.
I used the "thanks so much" image from the Three Little Words set to stamp the greeting in the bottom right corner of the card with Versamark ink and embossed that in white powder, as well.
A simple and easy card that packs a citrus punch!

Happy stamping!
