Here's a few things you might not know about me:
I like short necklaces.
I love butterflies.
I like to use my stamps to make jewelry.
All of these things are a great combination for using the butterfly image in the new StampTV Kit: Enjoy the Sunshine. After all, stamps aren't just for papercrafts!
Polyshrink plastic is a wonderful medium for creating your own custom jewelry with your stamps. I stamped 9 of the butterfly images on white Polyshrink with a Staz-On black in pad and let them dry before trimming them out with precision tip scissors. I punched a hole at the edge of one of the wing tips with a 1/8 inch hole punch and then shrunk the pieces in the oven according to the directions on the pack of Polyshrink.
When the pieces came out of the oven, I colored them in using Souffle pens (Sakura brand), which gives a pretty pastel 3-dimensional look when it's dry.
I had some clay beads that a friend gave me that I put onto wire and added glass beads to. The butterflies were fitted with jump rings and put on a silver chain.

Your necklace is absolutely gorgeous! I did not know that you loved butterflies. Me too. :) Although your banner has a butterfly on it so I thought you might like them.

I love the necklace. Where do you get the pens from? I love the way they pop with the color.

That's pretty cool! My attempts at Polyshrink haven't be so successful yet. LOL When it started looking ugly I would stop heating, not knowing that it gets worse before going flat!... ;-)
