Congratulations on your new home and a new studio room!! How wonderful. I say pick a color that is soothing. I know River Rock might be boring but I like neutrals and then accent with colors that pop. Plus you can always change the accent colors easily. I also like the "happiness" decor element in chocolate or "create - definition". have fun decorating! Can't wait to see the final result.

I love love love the new In-Color Baja Breeze. Throw in a few punches of Kiwi Kiss and Chocolate Chip. I think that could be very nice. Anyhow, for Decor Elements . . . . hmmm, that's a little tougher. I'm really fond of the Organic Outline, but with your love for your family I could totally see you using the Family decor element with some of your favorite scrapbook pages and / or photos. Just my thoughts!

Congrats! You're definitely goin' love your own creative space! I colored my walls a pale Apricot Appeal and love it. It is warm yet bright enough to lighten up my room in the basement. As for Decor elements I like the Create definition is great!

Jennifer Smith

I'm thinking something bright like Yo Yo Yellow. Then I would use the flourishes in the white to tone down the yellow a bit. I think it would be totally rockin'.

Congrats on the house, and the studio! You will LOVE that! I think you should use Certainly Celery or Apricot Appeal for the room, and you HAVE to have the Create definition from the Decor Elements! Congrats again!

Congrats on your new home!! Owning your own home is such a wonderful feeling....and having your own studio...what could be better!! For colors I would say....Old Olive...I love the darker green color...I have that color in my family room..so nice and warm..I just love it. As for the Decor Elements I would choose, flourishes. Have fun moving!!

Dawn

How exciting! Good luck with everything. I'm jealous about the studio :)
I think the new Baja Breeze with some accent colors would be nice. Definately the Create DE, maybe some flourishes? Thanks!

It would be a toss up between Life is Good & Live every Moment, but maybe you could use both. As far as color, I'm picturing a mellow moss paint.

Congrats!!!!

The colors are easy. I'd pick So Saffron for the walls and accent with Cranberry Crisp. The accents are harder to choose... Probably the long stem silhouette, flourishes, or organic outline. Actually, I'd probably go with the long stem silhouette in a stamping, crafty, creating room. Oh, and definitely the Create definition, of course!

Congratulations!! I would love to have a room totally dedicated to my crafting...with a nice big lock on it. ;) If it were my room I would go with a nice green like Mellow Moss...and then throw in some chocolate accents. I like the "create" and "life is good" with some nice baroque flourishes thrown in.

Kim

I think the soft sky with either very vanilla or whisper white looks great and the chocolate decor would be pretty. 2 walls soft sky, 2 walls a neutral color. I have 2 rooms painted this way and love it!!

GingerB

flourishes DE in white (or wait for some of the new catalog items) ;)

and one wall in more mustard- the others in wild wasabi. (like the colors on page 96 of the catalog) you could throw in some rose red accessories.

cant wait to see what you come up with!

Hi Erika! Just wanted to congratulate you and your family on your first "real" home! There is nothing like having your own space! I just painted my new larger studio certainly celery and have Pretty in Pink accents with white Cropper Hopper cubes and drawers. I plan on using white elements for my walls as soon as I order...I'm thinking the Create definition which I love but don't know what else...

Have fun decorating!

Erika...I may be too late for the giveaway, but I wanted to leave my congrats anyways. Congratulations on your new home. That is so awesome & exciting! For your color, I would pick a color close to terra cotta (sorry I don't have my catalog in front of me right now to pick the exact color). I love this color. I painted our hallway this color & although it is pretty bold (for me) I have never regretted picking this color. I also think you should go with Flourishes for your accents.

I know you will love having a studio! Even though mine is a mess, just the thought of that place to go to stamp and relax is awesome! Congratulations!

I'm a pink person so I painted my room Pink Passion on one wall and Green Galore on the other 3.

But you are much more "earthy" and I see you in Certainly Celery!

Congratulations and much happiness in your new home!
