Remember those cute little Coaster Calendar Magnets that I shared with you? (Post 1 and Post) And also again in The Stampin' Mama Store?
Well, here's another one......another variation on the same design.
I'm a huge fan of earthy tones, so putting this design together was a lot of fun for me.
The True Friend set is a current favorite of mine right now, along with the Apple Cider Designer Series paper. I'm REALLY hoping that these will make it into the new Spring/Summer Stampin' Up catalog due out on January 1st. These two items are going to be unavailable as of December 1st, as the Holiday Mini Catalog will be gone by then. I'm glad I got extra of this paper because I really do love it. The set and the paper have a very bohemian flair to them, which I adore. Not just the patterns, but the colors, too!
I realized that this is actually my 397th post on my blog, so be on the lookout for a Groovy Give-Away post coming soon to celebrate Post #400! It's gonna be a whiz-bang of a give-away.....and it's coming up on Friday.
So.....how many of you are as excited as I am about the list of retiring Stampin' UP sets coming out this Saturday??? SO. STINKIN'. EXCITED!
Sure, it's sad to say goodbye to some sets, but just think......imagine all the awesome new sets that will come out to replace the ones we're saying goodbye to! That's even MORE exciting! Talk about a great way to start off the new year!
Hope you all have a wonderful evening......it's back to the big mountain of holiday cards I was working on, along with the movie, "Big Fish." I'm not a huge Ewan McGregor fan (he ruined it for me when he opened his mouth and sang in "Moulin Rouge".....I just didn't dig that), but this movie is so , naive, innocent, sweet and fantastical (my combo of fantastic, magical and fantasy......only to find out that my spell check says this is a real word, so I looked it up and it means: existing in fancy only.....go figure.....here I thought I was smart and invented a new word.....oh well, I'll get over it) and I never get tired of watching it. I love the imagination and the ending is one of the best endings I've ever seen in a movie. If you haven't had a chance to watch this yet, it's highly recommended. :)
Happy Creating!
-Stampin' Mama
i loved big fish....but i didn't dig him singing in moulin rouge either....ewwww!!!

I also like the Apple Cider paper. I am going to make one small order tomorrow, it being the end of the month, and the end of the Paper Party Promotion, and I am going to get another pack of that paper. I am so excited to get the retired list. I wonder if there are any sets that will be retiring that I really like? I like most of them all, but I just can't get them all, AT ONCE!! I just got my coasters in the mail last weekend, and I have used some, but I am waiting for my workshop order that comes in Monday to really go overboard. Those coasters are really usefull, and they were pretty cheap, and it didn't take that much time to get them in the mail. And on the invoice, which I thought was "thoughtful", was a personal, hand written message, saying "thank you for your order" How great is that? I am definitely going to make more orders through Stamp on This. Thanks so much Erika for putting the name out there, it is a really great company!

Im super excited about the retiring list! I love to see what's going and how much cause then there's that much more NEW!
I fell asleep during 'Big Fish', although in my defense I was heavily pregnant at the time! Maybe I'll give it another go.

Thanks for showing this great project and giving the source for the little calendars. I ordered some and will be doing some of these at an upcoming group meeting. Perfect for the New Year and a great way to use the coasters and decorative papers I've been hoarding!

These are really cute calendars. Are you putting them in family Christmas cards this year *wink*

These calendars are so cute. Wish I had my act together sooner - they would be great gifts. But, alas, a month behind again. Thanks for info on where to order materials. (Maybe I'll have more time next year.)

Hi Erika! Congrats on your 400th post! I have a question for you...where do you house all the samples you make????? Do you keep them? give them away? store them in books, or containers? or raffle them off? That's a challenge for me..just wondering how you manage this? (or maybe you bought a bigger house?) LOL This is wonderful Blog candy...and an interesting incentive to win it!
