thanks again for the detailed tutorial. I am missing one important part in my mind of how this is put together. When you say glued the pages to the back of the book, did you do this one by one, or put glue on the outer edges to bind? If the latter, what kind of glue? this looks like a fun project to try!

What a special gift. This is likely to be one of those gifts they stiall remember on their 50th anniversary!

Wowzer! Someone is getting a very special gift! You made a gorgeous altered book Erika. I am just learning how to make altered books so I know the amount of work that you put into making this one.

Thank you for sharing this project. Can you explain more how you glued the pages together? What kind of glue did you use and did you put glue on every page? Maybe just on the edges?

Great project and I am sure they will treasure it.

Craft Critique

Congratulations! This post was so terrific we included it in our latest Blog Carnival on Craft Critique! In fact, we included several of your posts!

We would love it if you'd "share the link love" and let your readers know about the Altered Items Carnival on Craft Critique... but we don't require it.

Of course if you'd rather not have your link included in the carnival then just let us know and we will remove it.

Thanks for creating something so wonderful and sharing it on your blog! :)
