One of the things that I hear most often about my scrapbook layouts is that people connect with the journaling. They feel that, even if they don't know me, they can connect with me and feel like they know me simply by reading the journaling that I've included on my layouts. They feel like they understand the story I'm trying to tell by reading my journaling.
The next thing that I hear most often is that journaling is really hard for most people to include on their layouts. There are many reasons that people don't include journaling on their layouts.

Erika, I do love reading the journaling on your pages, it really touches my heart. I so wish I could convey that same feeling from my pages. Thanks so much for offering this, it really isn't in
the budget right now. I have been visiting your blog for several years now and love it. I also visit Zach's blog, as I worked for years with Children on the ASD and loved each and every one of them and their families.

Hi! Your journaling class sounds wonderful. I want my scrap pages to capture my heart so my children and future generations will know who I am and what I care about. That is sooooo much more important to me than having perfect layouts.

Hi Erika, I am new to Scrapbooking and don't really do Journalling. The odd comments that have made it onto my pages have been done by computer but I would love to be able to use my own handwriting as I know this would be so important to my family when I am gone. The only Online class I have ever done was a stamping class with Alisa Tilsner. It was great and I have just popped across from her site where she tells that she is going to be a part of your team for this class. I would love to win this prize so that I can see more of Alisa's work whilst learning myself and from what previous comments say and from looking at your site, I know you must be a wonderful Teacher.
