Creative Girly is back with another fun craft for kids. In this video, she's going to show how easy it is to take a plain t-shirt, some paint and a paint brush to create your very own unique and one-of-a-kind t-shirt. There's no two alike and you'll have your very own artwork to wear whenever you like!
We found our t-shirts for $2.50 a piece at our local dollar store, but they can also be found on sale at department stores or even in craft stores.
Here's what you'll need for to make your own Painted T-shirt:
- White or colored T-shirt with no designs on it
- Acrylic paint or fabric paint and a surface to put them on (paper plate works well)
- Paint brush and cup of water to rinse it in, along with a piece of paper towel to wipe your wet brush on
- Newspaper or scrap paper to protect your work surface
- Apron, smock or t-shirt that you don't mind getting dirty
There are two parts to this project so we've created two videos. Enjoy!
The shirt that she's wearing in this photo says, "Please put my brother down the laundry shoot." She certainly has imagination!
As always, make sure that there is proper adult supervision for kids
when creating with our instructions and tutorials. Enjoy and have fun
creating!
